Join our experienced instructor, Pam Silvain, in two exciting new classes in the Senior Activity Center (SAC) at Pictona. Enjoy the benefits of gentle stretching, breathing and relaxation techniques in Stretch & Flex, held every Monday from 10-11 am beginning October 26th. Using a chair for standing exercises and balance, we will increase strength and stamina to help maintain agility.
Bring your own mat on Wednesdays from 10-11 am starting October 28th for Gentle Yoga. Move through classic yoga poses and sequences in a slow and mindful way. Coordinating breath with movement, you will increase flexibility and improve coordination and balance, all in a tranquil and welcoming environment.
Membership at Pictona is not required to attend Stretch & Flex or Gentle Yoga. Class sizes are limited for social distancing, and masks are required. Both classes are free to participate; donations of $3 - $6 are encouraged and appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome, though priority will be given to participants who pre-register each week at the links above if classes fill up.
