Welcome to Pictona – a fun and safe destination for pickleball and other sports enthusiasts! To ensure an enjoyable experience, please follow these guidelines:
Checking In: Upon arrival, please check in at the designated areas. You can conveniently use the membership ID card reader inside the North Clubhouse at the Welcome Desk or the reader outside Pictona 2 Welcome Desk window. If you're joining, you'll need to stop at one of the Welcome Desks to complete some paperwork, have your photo taken, and receive an ID card. Members who signed up online will have their photo taken and ID card provided at the Welcome Desk.
Membership Card: If you don't have a physical card, you can still scan your membership ID using your phone. Easily access your membership card by downloading our App on your mobile phone. Alternatively, provide your name to the Welcome Desk Associate to match your photo on file.
The Aetna Gardens at Pictona: The Gardens are currently under renovation. Construction has begun and the gardens will offer a beautiful place to sit and enjoy your lunch or just to relax and take in the Florida sunshine. The hydroponic garden will continue to provide lettuce and greens to be prepared at The Kitchen.
Attire: Proper attire is required on the courts and in indoor spaces. Shirts and shorts/pants or dresses and shoes are required. Court shoes are required while playing pickleball. Please towel down before entering indoor spaces if you're sweaty.
Food and Drink: The Kitchen is open not only to members but also the public and serves as the primary source for all food and beverage at Pictona. The profits from The Kitchen are a major source for funding the operations of Pictona and keeping your membership fees low. No outside food may be brought into Pictona. No drinks other than water or sport drinks may be brought into Pictona.
No food or drink are allowed on any courts (all of the green, blue, and black floor surfaces). You may take food and drink from The Kitchen to the Loft and any of the viewing areas where bleachers and shade covers are provided.
Additional spots beyond the Loft & court areas allow people to bring approved food and drinks. We've provided picnic tables in these areas. Centennial Park, located just west of Pictona and on the west side of the railroad tracks, is also an excellent picnicking option.
Water Stations: Hydrate at our 5 Water Stations located around the facility. The locations of our water stations are:
Florida Health Care Plans Games Room: This multi-purpose room is typically set up with 3 table tennis tables. Members can also reserve it for private parties catered by The Kitchen. At other times, the room may be used for an educational class.
Locker Rooms: The men's and women's locker rooms in the Pictona 1 Clubhouse each offer 3 full-length lockers and 12 half-length lockers for day use. Remember to bring your own padlock; if forgotten, one can be borrowed from the Welcome Desk. Don't forget to bring your towel! Soap and shampoo will be provided. Kindly clear your locker and leave the room clean when you depart.
Pets: Per the City of Holly Hill ordinance, Sec. 10-45. - Animals prohibited on municipally owned property; pets are not allowed inside the Pictona facility at any time, except for law enforcement dogs, service dogs and dog guides. We request a vest for all service animals.
Player Shops: You’ll find an excellent selection of paddles and other playing gear, including shirts, shorts, and skirts in our two Player Shops! Our Clubhouse has merchandise in the Welcome Desk lobby. We have another dedicated Player Shop in the southwest corner of the Humana Education Center, located on the south end of campus.
Rain and Lightning: Please check our rain and lightning policy HERE for guidelines during inclement weather.
FHCP Activity & Education Center: Open to the community and Pictona members, this center offers indoor exercise classes, educational programs, and outdoor recreational courts. Room space can also be rented for private parties.
Florida Health Care Plans Recreational Courts: This outdoor space include 2 shuffleboard courts, 1 croquet court, 2 cornhole lanes and a 9 hole putting course. Guests may use the equipment provide in the Senior Activity Center by using our equipment check out sheet.
Sportsmanship: On the courts or off, please embrace these behavioral guidelines:
Tobacco. Pictona is a drug and tobacco-free campus. Smoking and vaping is prohibited in all indoor and outdoor spaces, including the surrounding parking lots.
Weapons. Firearms and other weapons are prohibited at Pictona.
