Enjoy the benefits of gentle stretching, breathing and relaxation techniques. Using a chair for standing exercises and balance, we will increase strength and stamina to help maintain agility. No prior experience is necessary.
Pamela J. Silvain, Ph.D., RYT 200. Pam’s inspiration for teaching yoga stemmed from her desire to help her parents stay strong and healthy as they aged. After completing Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training and receiving certification from Duke Integrative Medicine in Yoga for Seniors, she pursued her passion. She has taught yoga for many years and currently teaches at Gold’s Gym in Ormond and at the Plantation Bay Wellness Center. Several years ago, she added a Chair Yoga certification. Pam has found through teaching and working with private clients that, regardless of a person’s physical limitations, yoga can relax the mind and body … and help reignite the joy within.
