Pictona Celebrates 4 Years! - July 15 - 19

What an exciting week we have ahead! Our official anniversary is on Monday, July 15th, but the celebrations will last all week long!

On Monday you're all invited to stop in the Kitchen for a slice of delicious cake marking our anniversary.
Tuesday and Friday evening Conviva will be at Pictona handing out fun gifts including sports socks, bucket hats, and umbrellas!
All week long we'll be featuring drink specials in the Kitchen - $4 beers, seltzers, and other refreshing beverages.
Friday we'll have fantastic giveaways by many of our valued sponsors, including Karen & Jeff Dillard from Realty Pros, Aetna Insurance, Gotta Pickleball, Stretch Zone, and Prime IV. Cap off the week with a fun Musical Pickleball Event on MetroHealth Championship Court from 6 - 7 pm.

It's a week full of fun and surprises, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

Ross and Pam Hendrix are Pictona's May Volunteers of the Month. Ross and Pam have been instrumental in establishing Pictona’s Volunteer program since its inception in 2020. They established the initial Pictona Success Team which has collected the names of more than 660 potential Pictona volunteers. Since that time, they have dedicated themselves to volunteering in numerous capacities when available. Most recently, Ross and Pam collectively put in more than 30 hours working the Player Check-in desk arriving at the crack of dawn to begin their shift.

When watching tournaments in person or on TV you may notice the referee standing on the side with his/her clipboard. They are not just keeping score, but they make sure all the rules are followed, making judgement calls, and being in the action!

Rainer Martens, the CEO of Pictona, has announced to the Board and City of Holly Hill his desire to resign by the end of the year. Julie Martens, Player Shops Director and official advisor to the CEO, will also step aside by the end of the year.
