Ross and Pam Hendrix are Pictona's May Volunteers of the Month. Ross and Pam have been instrumental in establishing Pictona’s Volunteer program since its inception in 2020. They established the initial Pictona Success Team which has collected the names of more than 660 potential Pictona volunteers. Since that time, they have dedicated themselves to volunteering in numerous capacities when available. Most recently, Ross and Pam collectively put in more than 30 hours working the Player Check-in desk arriving at the crack of dawn to begin their shift.

Learn how to become a referee at Pictona's Referee Training Academy !
When watching tournaments in person or on TV you may notice the referee standing on the side with his/her clipboard. They are not just keeping score, but they make sure all the rules are followed, making judgement calls, and being in the action!
Training to become a referee will make you an expert on pickleball rules, and also give you a certification that can be used at tournaments across the country. Sign up for more information at THIS LINK.
