Class Description

Join certified group exercise instructor, Jocelyn Daley for Pilates at Pictona. Focusing on abs, glutes, arms and legs, you will increase core strength, flexibility and mobility - all attributes that contribute to both pickleball success and general physical wellness. Sessions will take place primarily on the floor (BYOM - Bring Your Own Mat) and will last approximately forty-five minutes.

Instructor Bio

Jocelyn Daley has been developing and teaching programs for the active adult community for over 20 years. Pilates will help strengthen the deep abdominal muscles needed for a stable base from which to hit that winning shot. Personal Quote: "It never gets easier, you just get better, There's no such word as can't". 

Jocelyn's work ranges from the active adult community (with programs to help them improve their Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball games) to developing effective programs for those who suffer from Parkinson’s and those with limited movement capability.

  • M.S. in Human Relations, University of Oklahoma
  • B.S. in Business Administration, University of Maryland
  • American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer
  • American College of Sports Medicine Group Exercise Instructor
  • Silver Sneakers/LiveSTRONG Certified 
  • Stott trained/Pilates Institute of America, Pilates
  • IFTA, Senior Fitness
  • Exercise Etc. Brains and Balance Past 60 Specialist

Class Details

This class is sponsored by our valued partner, Florida Health Care Plans. Having FHCP health insurance is not required to attend the class; Pictona membership is not required to attend the class. 

When: Tuesdays at 9:30 am

Cost: This class is open to the public. Donations for the instructor are accepted at participant discretion ($3 - $6 recommended). Insurance cards are also accepted – please bring your insurance card (if you have one) to use when signing in. If you have health insurance with Florida Health Care Plans, AdventHealth, Humana, or United Healthcare, the instructor will be compensated by your insurance company at no cost to you. 

What to wear? Comfortable athletic clothing (closed-toe shoes)

What to bring? Water, BYOM (Bring Your Own Mat)
