Join senior fitness specialist, Artie G., for Pilates at Pictona. Focusing on abs, glutes, arms and legs, you will increase core strength, flexibility and mobility - all attributes that contribute to both pickleball success and general physical wellness. Sessions will take place primarily on the floor (BYOM - Bring Your Own Mat) and will last approximately forty-five minutes.
Senior Fitness Specialist, Artie Gardella, founder of Synergy Senior Fitness, has been developing and teaching programs for the active adult community for over 17 years. Committed to the idea that the maturing body has special needs that are often not addressed in traditional fitness programs, Artie G (as he is known in the fitness world) has been teaching these exercises for the maturing body in live classes throughout Flagler and Volusia Counties, as well as on multiple published videos.
His work ranges from the active adult community (with programs to help them improve their Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball games) to developing effective programs for those who suffer from Parkinson’s and those with limited movement capability. His upbeat, fun and very personal approach has made him the premier instructor for all things senior in Central/Northern Florida.

When: Tuesdays at 9:30 am
Cost: This class is open to the public. Donations for the instructor are accepted at participant discretion ($3 - $6 recommended). Insurance cards are also accepted – please bring your insurance card (if you have one) to use when signing in. If you have health insurance with Florida Health Care Plans, AdventHealth, Humana, or United Healthcare, the instructor will be compensated by your insurance company at no cost to you.
