Would you like to find a better way to organize your workstation and daily office activities to promote greater health while working? Then, this workshop is for you!
Cheryl Wynn, a DPT at Thomas Physical Therapy is offering this FREE workshop with the office employee in mind. Learn why sitting for prolonged periods of time isn't good for your health and what exercises you can do at your desk to alleviate pain. Discover how to adjust your workstation to fit you properly and create a healthier workspace.
This workshop is designed to fit within the space of a lunch hour. The presentation will begin at 12:10 pm and will end at 12:45 pm. For those who are interested, Cheryl will hang around for a Q&A from 12:45 - 1 pm.
When: Wednesday, June 9th from 12:00 pm - 1 pm
Where: Pictona Senior Activity Center (no age requirement to attend)
Lunch: The Kitchen will provide complimentary lunch for all workshop participants! The Kitchen servers will deliver your meal to you in the SAC in time for the workshop.
How to Register: Registration is required. City employees should see Val Manning by Monday, June 7th to secure your spot and choose your lunch.
