Very soon, Pictona’s Community Gardens will be open and planted. Pictona members and Holly Hill residents will have the opportunity to grow vegetables, flowers and more in their own garden plot and join in the cultivation of both the Children’s and Hydroponic Gardens. News about Pictona’s new Garden Club will be posted on the website within the next few weeks!
We have a need for volunteers to come to Pictona on Saturday, August 15th at 8 am for 2 hours to help transport, spread and level soil delivered by the City into the new planter boxes. We are asking volunteers to bring a metal rake and/or a flat bottom shovel if they have one.
We are excited to invite our members to begin making the Community gardens a wonderful part of the Pictona experience.
