Sundown, Showdown Series

The Sundown Showdown Series is Pictona's exciting summer tournament lineup. Sponsored by AdventHealth, this unique series includes three themed team events: Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, and Men's Doubles. All matches are played in the evening on championship-lit courts at Florida's top pickleball facility.

Enjoy More Matches, Less Waiting: Each team includes at least four players, with the option to add two substitutes. Teams compete in a round-robin format with multiple matchups. In a full bracket, each player gets to play up to 10 games. This structure ensures plenty of court time and keeps the competition moving quickly.

Divisions Fit All Levels: Players are grouped by age (Under 50 and 50+) and skill level (3.0–4.5+). Because of this, the series welcomes a wide range of competitors—from rising players to seasoned teammates.

Fresh Formats Keep Things Fun: Each event features a unique team format. Mixed doubles events use MLP-style matchups, while gender-specific events rotate partners between rounds. This adds variety and keeps every match fresh and exciting.
