Performance Enhancement Yoga is intended for athletes but suitable for all. "P.E. Yoga" follows a yearly pattern of instruction complimenting annual patterns of competition. It is not competitive nor is it intense exercise. The message is uplifting and empowering. P.E. Yoga is a relief to the athlete and helps recovery and regeneration. P.E. Yoga uses meditation and imagery as well as stretching. General elements include flexibility and strength, injury prevention, breath work, body symmetry and especially performance enhancement. P.E. Yoga will benefit sore muscles and inspire participants to perform at their best.
Bob Van Twyver is a Registered International Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Instructor (2003). Besides teaching Yoga, Bob is also an accomplished rowing coach currently coaching Para-Rowing and Coastal Rowing in Daytona Beach. Bob works with athletes of all skill levels ranging from recreational Adaptive or Para Rowing participants to elite athletes. Athletics and yoga are intertwined in Bob’s dynamic yoga classes yet there are strong mental and spiritual components in class as well. In class, or on the water coaching, Bob has a heartfelt and captivating style. Humor helps relax the group, and he teaches with a broad knowledge base including breath-work, relaxation, guided imagery and athletic training.
Bob brings his expertise and techniques from a wide range of experiences. He trained to teach Kundalini Yoga and has developed his own style he refers to as Row-ga. Bob is excited to begin teaching Adaptive yoga as well. People in Bob’s class like to listen because he has good information or to laugh at what he might say next!

Maximum Class Size: 20 participants. Registration for each class is encouraged. If a class fills up, priority will be given to participants who have registered using the form below, and walk-ins will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
