When watching tournaments in person or on TV you may notice the referee standing on the side with a clipboard. They are not just keeping score. Referees ensure the rules are followed, make judgment calls, and stay engaged in the action.
Training to become a referee will make you an expert on pickleball rules and give you a certification that can be used at tournaments across the country. Many graduates of our program call it a rewarding path, and there are paid opportunities available.
