Battle of the Decades: A Pickleball Mixer With a Twist !

BATTLE of the DECADES: A PICKLEBALL MIXER with a TWIST!  This is a monthly SOCIAL MIXER event with no specified skill level, but also a competition between two decades. Pictona is having TWO of these events on WEDNESDAY, June 28. From 8am-10am will be for players that are 50-69 years old. From 6pm to 8pm players MUST be between 20-39 years old. When you arrive, you will be given a PLAYER NUMBER. There will be a printed game schedule that shows the assigned player numbers at each court, for each round.  During the morning BATTLE, the 50-59 year olds will be partners, playing against 60-69 year old players. During the evening BATTLE, the 20-29 year olds will be partners, playing against 30-39 year old players.You will play SIX GAMES. The decade with the most number of wins, will be declared the CHAMPION DECADE of the night. 

Now here is the TWIST... we are adding to the FUN by playing songs you grew up with AND encouraging players that are SINGLE (NOT in a committed relationship) to socialize in between games and after. We will have "conversation starter cards" on the picnic tables located on the southeast side of the bleachers in the MetroHealth Championship Stadium. This is a relaxed way to see if you have anything else in common besides pickleball. You DO NOT have to be "looking for a love connection" to attend this event. On the southwest side of the bleachers we will have "conversation starter cards" for people just looking to make new friends. 

Games will be played on courts 31-44. It is recommended that you park and enter through the West Gate. All players are required to STOP AT WELCOME DESK to CHECK IN for these events. If you do NOT have an ANNUAL PLUS MEMBERSHIP or Monthly Auto Renew PLUS MEMBERSHIP, you will be required to pay a $5 event fee, in addition to the daily entrance fee OR one punch on your PIC 10 Pass or scan your BASIC/Monthly On Demand membership card in good standing.
