About the Tournament
The Pictona Challenge is our premier spring tournament, proudly presented by Emerge Insurance Services, and attracts hundreds of players to one of Florida's top pickleball destination. In 2025, the tournament welcomed over 650 registered participants for four days of competitive play across our courts, including the iconic MetroHealth Stadium Court.
The format is player-friendly: every event uses round robin or pool play, followed by playoffs—meaning more guaranteed games and fewer early exits. With nine age groups and five skill levels ranging from 3.0 to 5.0, the Challenge spans 41 divisions, offering a spot for every type of player, from emerging amateurs to tournament veterans.
Events include men's doubles, women's doubles, mixed doubles, and singles. Championship matches are played in a high-energy atmosphere under the lights of MetroHealth Stadium with seating for 1,200 spectators.
On-site amenities include The Kitchen restaurant, The Depot concession stand, shaded viewing areas, and a newly renovated Player Shop. With excellent court design, LED lighting, and Pictona's signature hospitality, the Pictona Challenge upholds the same professional standards seen in nationally recognized events like the USAP Diamond Amateur Championship, APP, PPA, and Major League Pickleball.
