Do you want to learn how to play Pickleball but aren't sure where to start? Then Pickleball 101 (PB-101) is for you! Thanks to the support of our sponsors Karen and Jeff Dillard of Realty Pros we are able to offer this class for free! Warning: You may become addicted to pickleball and will then want to join Pictona!
PB-101 is 90-minutes of pickleball instruction with experienced Pictona volunteers. Limited to 12 participants, you'll learn the rules of the game, basic groundstrokes, and scoring. Most exciting is that you'll be playing games and having fun! After PB-101, you are invited to stay and play on the courts at Pictona for as long as you like that day.
You'll find PB-101 classes taking place on Pictona's covered courts at MetroHealth Stadium. We will provide paddles and balls for the class, or you can bring your own.
PB-101 classes are held on the covered courts at the MetroHealth Stadium, offering protection from direct sunlight and a comfortable playing environment even in the Florida heat. Classes will take place rain or shine, so weather won't interfere with your session. Please remember to enter through the north Entrance when arriving for PB-101. To get the most out of your experience, be sure to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated, wear athletic shoes with good support, and dress in comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity.
