On Saturday, November 6, the Pictona Garden Club visited EFG Orchids in DeLand. Organized by Ricki Stofsky, Social Committee Chair, Pictona gardeners had the opportunity to take a tour of the facility and learn about its history and the many diverse plants for sale and on display. It was an enjoyable morning, and we look forward to the next great field trip!
All are welcome to participate in the Pictona Garden Club. If you're interested in joining us for future activities, contact Rynn at rynng@pictona.org or call 386-238-9276.

What's one of the best benefits of being in the Pictona Garden Club? Going on field trips! On Saturday, September 11th, the Pictona Garden Club traveled down the road to Port Orange to tour Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens. Nestled away on ten acres in a Port Orange neighborhood just off Nova Road, DSMG is a historical site as well as botanical gardens. Pictona gardeners learned about the rich history of the site (including its brief stint as the Bongoland amusement park - look out for the dinosaurs!) while enjoying a guided tour of the many different gardens and plant collections. It was a fun morning with a wonderful group of people!
All are welcome in the Pictona Garden Club. If you're interested in learning about the Club and joining us in future activities, contact Rynn at rynng@pictona.org.
We invite you to check out our Fall class offerings. All are welcome!
