TEAM LEAGUES for Men 3.5-3.99, Men 4.0+, Women 3.5-3.99 & Women 4.0+ DRAFT

Pickleball Team Leagues are coming to Pictona on Monday Nights from 6pm to 8pm in January! We will run FOUR LEAGUES: Men 3.5 to 3.99, Women 3.5 to 3.99, Men 4.0+ and Women 4.0+. The DRAFT will be held on Jan 16, 2023. First Team League games will start on Jan 23, 2023.

There will be 4 teams, made up of 6 players each. Four registrants will be designated as the "team captains." Their role will be to participate in a "private" DRAFT, to ensure the teams are evenly matched. Each Monday, you will play FIVE games, partnered with each of the other 5 players on your team. Each team will have a designated color, so for example, the RED TEAM will play all 5 games against the BLUE TEAM and the BLACK TEAM will play all 5 games against the GREEN TEAM. You will also come up with FUN Team Names like "The Dinkerbells and The Big Dills." The team with the greatest number of wins for the night, will be designated TEAM winner of the week. Team with the greatest number of WEEKLY wins, will be designated LEAGUE CHAMPIONS and get their picture taken with a cool trophy, that will be on display at Pictona until the next League.

***We know pickleball players love the opportunity to play with better players, but Team Leagues are not the right time for that. Please do not sign up if you are not confident about your skill level. No one wants to be the one to let their teammates down by not being able to compete at the posted level. We will have 2.5-2.99 and 3.0-3.49 Team Leagues coming soon.***

All players will be told which team they are on, the day after the DRAFT. Be sure we have your correct cell phone number and email, so team captains can communicate with their team members throughout the League.

PLEASE DO NOT sign up for this DRAFT, unless you are available to play all six weeks. There is a separate sign up called "SUB LIST for each division. The team captains will select players from the SUB LIST, if needed, that show up 10-15 minutes prior to start time each week. Otherwise, SUBS are welcome to stay and organize their own games.

Games will be held on courts, primarily located at Pictona 2. Park in west lot, entrance off 10th Street. You can scan member card or enter Pictona 2 Welcome Desk in Players Shop to get a day pass.

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to start time so we can warm up and be ready to start the games at 6:00pm.

Late arrivals are not guaranteed to participate. During inclement weather, all organized events convert to Open Play at the covered courts.
