Playing PB 3.5+

You have attended PB 301 &/or PB 302 or are competent in the skills presented in those courses.  Playing 3.5+ is a class  for 3.5 and 4.0 level participants who have participated in this level of recreational play at Pictona or in tournaments (see Pictona's Skills Assessment Program).

Courses are limited to 4- 6 participants to maximize your opportunity to learn game strategy and participate in skill instruction.

Each weeks class is listed below with a brief description of topics covered:

• Dinking with purpose, crossing the X and offensive lobs.
• Defensive lobs, resetting the point, from the transition zone and controlling the pace of play.
• Developing and using the topspin forehand.
• Partner communication, switching, stacking, player positioning and overhead smashes.
