PICKLEBALL POKER is a FUN NEW ACTIVITY to introduce players to our newly created SKILL LEVEL and SINGLES PLAY PODS. Unless there is a tournament or special event, you should be able to find the right skill level or singles players on these courts from open to close, 7 days a week.
Courts 15-17 are for NOVICE PLAYERS <2.5
Courts 18-20 are for BEGINNERS 2.5-2.99
Courts 9-11 are for INTERMEDIATE 3.0-3.49
Courts 12-14 are for UPPER INTERMEDIATE 3.5-3.99
Courts 25-27 are for ADVANCED 4.0-4.49
Courts 28-30 are for UPPER ADVANCED 4.5+
Courts 23 & 24 are for SINGLES PLAY (any skill level, full court or skinny)
- On Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, we are offering a voluntary PICKLEBALL POKER GAME to those players on the SKILL POD COURTS 9-20 and 23-30. You DO NOT have to play poker to play on those courts during those hours.
- Bring Hali $5 CASH to exchange for TWO PLAYING CARDS and a score sheet. Next, go to your appropriate SKILL LEVEL or SINGLES PLAY POD. Once there are four players (or 2 at the Singles courts), start your game. After each game, have all players sign the scoresheet and return to Hali. The winner/s will receive and additional playing card and new scoresheet. Keep playing more games and turn in scoresheets to Hali to get your additional playing cards.
- After you have won 3 games, every time you receive a NEW playing card, you have to TURN ONE BACK IN. The most cards you can have in your hand is FIVE. At 8pm, whoever has the HIGHEST HAND WINS THE POT.
- Hali will keep ALL cards in envelopes with player names on them. If it is determined that a player is "sandbagging," they will be asked to MOVE UP to the next highest SKILL LEVEL POD.
- For every 8 players there will be one deck of cards and one $40 pay out.
- Players DO NOT REGISTER to play poker. All PODS are OPEN PLAY. As soon as there are enough players on the courts, Hali will walk around and see who wants to participate in the POKER option.
