You have attended PB 301 or are competent in the skills presented in that class. PB 401 is a class for 3.5 and 4.0 level participants who have participated in this level of recreational play at Pictona or in tournaments (see Skill Rating).
Our PB 401 course includes 4 one-hour classes. Each will focus on the skills and in game strategies needed for the advance level pickleball player to continue to improve. Classes are limited to 4- 6 participants to maximize your opportunity to learn game strategy and participate in skill instruction.
Each weeks class is listed below with a brief description of topics covered:
PB 401A - Dinking with purpose, crossing the X and offensive lobs.
PB 401B - Defensive lobs, resetting the point, from the transition zone and controlling the pace of play.
PB 401C - Developing and using the topspin forehand.
PB 401D - Partner communication, switching, stacking, player positioning and overhead smashes.
The class is open to both members and non-members. Participants must pre-register using tennis director or by calling the Pictona Welcome Desk at 386-310-7067.
$100 for members / $148 for non-members.
