Criteria: You have attended PB102 or are competent in the skills presented in that class. PB201 is a class for 2.5 to 3.0 level participants who have participated in this level of recreational play at Pictona or elsewhere (see Skills Assessment Program).
Our PB201 course includes (2) two-hour classes. Each will focus on the skills and in-game strategies needed for the advanced level pickleball player to continue to improve. Classes are limited to 4- 8 participants to maximize your opportunity to learn basic game strategy and participate in skill instruction.
Each week’s class is listed below with a brief description of topics covered:
Class 1 – Ready position, footwork, keep ball in play, serve strategy, dinking (aim at opponent’s feet), partner positioning. Create rallies, precision over power, drop shot/split step, “middle solves the riddle”
Class 2 – Cross court dinking, follow your returns, volley block, unforced errors, communication with partner, backhand returns
The class is open to both members and non-members.

The cost of the class is $100 for members ($148 for non-members) and is paid at the time of registration.
