Looking for something FUN to do on a Saturday Night? Pictona is excited to host their first CHALLENGE WORK UP GAME NIGHT... plus NAME THAT TUNE!
- The FIRST 20 players (skill level under 3.5, on courts 4 - 8) to arrive, get to kick off the Challenge "WORK UP" Game. Players will randomly select their starting court and partner, Winners stay together and move up a court. Winners on top court stay together, until a challenging team wins
- At the end of each game, the teams that do NOT win, come off the court and put their paddles in the rack. When you put your paddles in the rack, you can change partners, as new players will arrive throughout the night.
- Two new players will fill in open spots, as each game ends, except on Court 4 (TOP COURT). Winning team from Court 5 will "work up" to Court 4 and be their opponents for the next game. The bottom court will have 4 new players, from the paddle rack
- New arrivals put their paddles in the rack and try to work their way up to the top court. Winning team on the TOP COURT at 8pm will earn the CROWN for the night.
Spectators and players not on a court can participate in the "Name That Tune" Game, going on in the bleacher area between courts 3 and 4. (Hali has over 11 hours of songs from all genres and decades.)
- At the start of each new song, game participants will raise their hand to make their guess of "song title," bonus for name of artist. Hali will keep a list of names and points earned. Player with the most points earned by 8pm will receive a prize!
The Kitchen will have "Happy Hour" and Food/Drink Specials from 5p to 8pm, so plan to eat dinner while you are there!
