Pictona is starting their first "approval required" skill level event for those rated between 4.5 and 3.5. It is a LADDER FORMAT with seeded placement for starting court position. Players with highest ratings will start on top courts. New participants will start on the bottom court (within their skill level). Scores will be recorded to be used to determine future starting court positions (extra points earned for winning on top courts). Players move up or down if they win or lose and partners split after each game. The intention is to play six highly competitive games with evenly matched partners. If there is an equal number of men and women, then games will be played MIXED, otherwise just OPEN.
