Ron assumed the presidency in 2025. He recently retired from his career in the software business where his latest position involved developing financial services software for banks and credit unions. Ron brings a tremendous amount of financial and IT knowledge to the Board. He also has significant experience as a board member and chairperson of a board focused on governance for the mortgage lending industry. Ron is an avid pickleball player with dozens of tournament medal finishes under his belt at Pictona and other venues around the region. He and his wife, Krista, are frequently seen at Pictona, both playing and volunteering in various capacities. We are very happy to have Ron bring his professional and pickleball experience to support Pictona as a member of our Board of Directors.

Jeff brings a blend of leadership, community spirit, and a passion for pickleball to the Board of Directors which he joined in 2025. As an active player and advocate for the sport, Jeff is committed to growing the game and creating opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels. He and his wife Karen have donated countless hours as volunteers at Pictona, particularly as PB 101 instructors. Off the court, Jeff is a successful real estate professional serving Volusia and Flagler counties, where he's known for building strong relationships and giving back to the community. His ability to organize events, connect people, and bring fresh ideas to the table makes him a valuable asset to the club's mission. Whether he's strategizing in a board meeting or rallying during a match, Jeff brings energy, teamwork, and a genuine love for pickleball to everything he does.

As a former educator, school administrator, and current business owner, Lynette has an analytical mind for improvement and problem solving. She started playing pickleball three years ago when a good friend kept encouraged her to try it. The moment she stepped on the court, she was hooked! Pickleball turned out to be the perfect blend of social fun, friendly competition, and just the right amount of exercise. Since then, she has played two-four times per week and is enjoying the incredible community that comes with it. After joining the Board in 2025 she shared, "As a board member at Pictona, I'm excited to help grow this amazing sport and create a welcoming space for players of all levels. Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or just looking for a great way to stay active and connected, pickleball truly has something for everyone." Lynette is married to Scott, has two grown sons, and a new daughter-in-law who all enjoy playing pickleball. She will become a Mimi to twins later this year!

In addition to her other volunteer duties at Pictona, Lisa joined the Board in 2024, expanding her dedication to the growth and future of Pictona. She and her husband, Dan, are frequently seen teaching PB 101 to "newbies" of the sport. She also works on the Friends of Pictona team that is responsible for hanging the many colored paddles honoring our donors and gives countless hours helping to run Pictona tournaments successfully. As a prior business owner, comptroller, and financial advisor currently of two other businesses, Lisa brings extensive knowledge in accounting to the board. The Hopkins love traveling and spending time with their 9 Grand Angels.

Russ Owen is the owner of Gray Lake Advisors, a financial planning firm dedicated to helping families and individuals reach their long-term goals. He also serves as a Director with Spaulding Ridge, where he works with colleges, universities, and public sector organizations on improving budgeting and planning processes. With a background spanning higher education finance and local government leadership, Russ brings practical experience in managing budgets, guiding strategic initiatives, and strengthening organizations. His commitment to community service and organizational health has shaped both his professional work and his volunteer efforts. Russ and his wife live in New Smyrna with their three children, where they enjoy staying active outdoors and supporting local recreation opportunities.

Andy has been involved with Pictona since the very beginning, when it was just a great idea being discussed at the courts in Daytona Beach Shores! He was the 15th member of the Pictona Club and joined the Board of Directors in November 2020, serving first as Vice President, and then President for 4 years, before stepping into the Past President's role in 2025. Andy's academic background in business prepared him for executive level leadership positions in all facets of operating a business from sales, to operations to IT strategy and have been an asset in working with the Board. Athletics, along with a true appreciation for the lessons learned through competition, have been a core part of his life that has been passed on by Andy, and his wife Bonnie, to their 3 children.
